Kazakhstan to brace for snow storms and blizzards Dec 16

The National Weather Agency Kazhydromet has issued the weather forecast for Kazakhstan for December 16, 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports. 

Due to a trough of the Northern cyclone and associated fronts, the country is to expect snow in most parts, as well as precipitation as rain and snow in the west and heavy snow in the east, southeast and center.

Black ice, blizzard, fog and high wind are to grip the country as well.

Wind is to reach 30mps and over in Zhetysu region's area of Lake Alakol as well as the south of Almaty region at night.
