Kazakhstan to brace for snow throughout Thursday

The southeast of Kazakhstan is set to brace today for heavy snow, while the country’s west, northwest are expected to face snow and rain mixed, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

The southwest and south of Kazakhstan are predicted to enjoy weather without precipitation.

High wind is forecast to roll through the country’s north, east, with ground blizzard expected in the south and southeast. Ice-slick is expected to form on the roads in the northwest. Fog is reported to blanket the south, southeast and central part of Kazakhstan.

As earlier reported, a storm alert was issued for 14 regions of Kazakhstan and Astana.
