Kazakhstan to brace for snowfalls, snowstorms and slippery roads

The anti-cyclone which set the tone all over Kazakhstan last week started shifting to the northeast, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

Snowfalls, snowstorms, slippery roads, and high wind will replace freezing temperatures on December 16-18.

Air temperature will rise to 0-10 degrees in the west, -5-15 degrees Celsius in the northwest, north and central part of Kazakhstan, south and southeast at night with mercury reading -22-35 degrees Celsius in the east.
