Kazakhstan to brace for unstable weather July 16

Most parts of Kazakhstan will see unstable, rainy weather today, with heavy downpour to hit northwestern, northern, central regions, as well as mountainous districts of the country's south and southeast. Wind speed will intensify across the country, and dust storm is forecast in southern areas.

Fervent heat will persist in Atyrau region and in the south of Mangystau region in the daytime.

Fire threat is reported to be high in Atyrau region, in the north, east, south and southwest of West Kazakhstan region, in the northwest, northeast of Zhambyl region, in the south of Abai region, in the southwest of Aktobe region, in the southeast of East Kazakhstan region, in the east of Pavlodar region, in the center of Abai region, and in the west of Ulytau region. 

Extremely high fire threat is forecast in Mangystau region, southeast of Atyrau region, south of Kostanay region, in desert areas of Turkistan region, west of Zhambyl region, as well as in the center, east and south of Kyzylorda region.
