Kazakhstan to brace for high wind on December 19

Kazhydromet issued a weather forecast for Kazakhstan on December 19, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The greater part of Kazakhstan will stay under the impact of the northern anticyclone, which will bring snow and blizzard. The country’s south and southwest will see sleet, while heavy snow is expected in the central part of Kazakhstan.

The country’s southeast and east will enjoy weather with no precipitation.

The country is also forecast to observe wind strengthening and black ice. Fog is expected in the central part of the country.

Wind is to reach 23-28mps, and over in Zhetysu region's area of Lake Alakol.
