Kazakhstan to brace rain, snow, blizzard this weekend

Kazhydromet has issued a three-day weather forecast for Kazakhstan from November 9 till 11, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to the national weather agency, the greater part of Kazakhstan stays under the impact of a northern cyclone, which will bring unstable weather on November 9-11. The country’s west and south are predicted to observe rain, snow with snowstorms and black ice. Most of the country is to brace for gusty winds of 15-29 m/s.
The Kostanay region will observe heavy snowfall at night on November 9, while the country’s east is expected to see snow on November 10-11.
Daytime temperatures are expected to increase to +8+13°C in the country’s south, and to +5°C in the mountainous areas.
