Kazakhstan to build kindergarten for special needs kids worth KZT 7.8 bln
The Kazakh Government announced plans to allocate 7.8 billion tenge to build a kindergarten for special needs children in the city of Aktobe using the confiscated assets under the Law on repatriation of illegally acquired assets, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the Government’s press service.
The new facility will be designated to welcome 300 children with special needs. It will be fitted with the necessary equipment. There are over 2,500 children aged 3-6 with special educational needs in the region. Of which 1,320 attend various preschool centers. There are four special education daycare facilities. The new kindergarten will help create the necessary infrastructure and support children with special needs.
Earlier the Government decreed to back the construction of a sports complex in Zerenda village, Akmola region, a music school in Temirlan village in Turkistan region, a sports complex for gifted children in Arkalyk town, a rehabilitation center for children with muscle-skeleton disorders in Astana, and a training center for people with special needs in Almaty.
