Kazakhstan to celebrate new public holiday - the First President's Day

ASTANA. December 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Senate has adopted the Law "On amendments to the Law "On holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan"at a plenary session.

As one of the initiators of the bill, Senator Anatoly Bashmakov noted, the draft Law is aimed at establishing the national holiday - the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan, which will be marked on December 1.

A.Bashmakov emphasized that outstanding achievements of First President Nursultan Nazarbayev will be recognized since the adoption of the bill.
