Kazakhstan to chair five international organizations

sp; ASTANA. November 19. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ "Kazakhstan will chair five international organizations - the OSCE, OIC, SCO, EurAsEC and the TURKSOI", Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at the ceremony of presenting credentials to Ambassadors of foreign countries.

The agenda of the political activity of Kazakhstan s full of important events, the President noted. He reminded that Kazakhstan already chairs the CICA. The Head of the State expressed hope on support of foreign countries during the OSCE chairmanship.

"We advocate transforming the OSCE into strong efficient organization in the conditions of increasing challenges and threats in the world. I believe that today the search for mutually acceptable decisions on formation of the system of Eurasian security, regulation of long-running conflicts is of special importance", N.Nazarbayev said.

He also noted that it is necessary to use the OSCE potential on development of the interregional cooperation, promotion of socio-economic development of Central Asia formation of intercontinental transport corridors, connecting Europe and Asia.

"Taking into consideration our unique experience in international, interconfessional accord, we intend to make great contribution to the OSCE activity in the field of tolerance", the President said.
