Kazakhstan to construct hospital worth 365 million euros in Kokshetau
The general hospital is to serve all the northern regions of the country, governor of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov said, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.
According to Akhmetzhanov, talks are ongoing to finalize the amount of investment.
365 million euros is not the final cost. Talks are underway concerning this issue. I’d like to say that it will not be a regional hospital, but an interregional one, that will serve all the northern regions of Kazakhstan. The Health Ministry is the contracting authority, said the governor.
To note, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development allocated 365 million euros for construction of a 630-place hospital in Kokshetau, the Bank’s President Odile Renaud-Basso said during the 36th plenary meeting of the Foreign Investors’ Council.
