Kazakhstan to continue supporting civil society institutions
sp;ASTANA. November 24. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The state continues to render support to the civil society institutions; Kazakhstan Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has announced at the plenary session of the IV Civil Forum in Astana.
"The state supports and will create all necessary conditions for successful development of the civil society institution", K.Saudabayev said.
According to him, over 13.000 NGOs function in Kazakhstan, over 550.000 engaged in this sector. This year on the President's commission the activity of the national, ethnocultural associations and creative unions.
"The volume of financing NGOs projects will make up about KZT 1.5 bln at the national level and about KZT 1 bln - at the local one in the nearest three years", K.Saudabayev said.
