Kazakhstan to demonstrate its potential at China International Import Expo
Kazakhstan is set to take part in the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held on November 5-10 in Shanghai, Kazinform Agency reports.
This year Kazakhstan sent a delegation of more than 40 state, quasi-state, and private companies, deputy director general of QazTrade trade policy development centre JSC Assel Yegemberdiyeva said. This year Kazakhstan’s national stands feature large national companies such as Kazakh Invest, Kazakh Tourism, Kazakhstan temir Zholy, Air Astana, KazPost, and others presenting the export, investment, logistics, innovation, and tourist potential of the country. The Meat Union, the National Association of Oil-bearing Crops Processing Companies of Kazakhstan, the Grain Union, and ProdCorporation are set to feature the agro-industrial complex.
According to the experts Kazakhstani companies have the potential to export goods to China up to more than USD 1 billion US dollars.
In 2022 the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China made 24 billion US dollars. Of which 13 billion US dollars constitute exports.
137 nations are set to display their goods and latest innovations at the 6th China International Import Expo.
