Kazakhstan to export 10 tons of meat in 2014 – Agriculture Ministry
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In 2014, agricultural enterprises of Kazakhstan will export 10 thousand tons of meat and meat products, Minister of Agriculture Assylzhan Mamytbekov has said at the extended meeting of the ministry's staff attended by Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov.

"Export forecast for 2014 is 10 tons of meat, including 5 tons of beef," he noted.
According to him, in 2013, Kazakhstan exported about 4.5 tons of meat and meat products, including about 300 tons of premium beef, according to the web-site of the Prime Minister.
"The proportion of cattle in organized farms was 31%, in small farms - 69%," Mamytbekov said.
For comparison, at the beginning of 2010 the average proportion of cattle in the country's organized farms was 18%.
