Kazakhstan to export 100 thousand cars by 2020
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan plans to export up to 100,000 vehicles by 2020, the press service of Kazakhstan Auto Association reports.

"Kazakhstan plans to export up to 100 thousand cars of local production by 2020. These results can be achieved, including through the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) ", stated in a press release. In the period from 2008 to 2013 car production in Kazakhstan increased by 11.5 times which in monetary terms equaled to KZT 156.5 billion. In 2013, car plants in East Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions assembled 38,000 cars. Daewoo Bus in Semipalatinsk and Hyundai Auto Trans in Almaty region produced about 1000 buses. According to the president of the Association Andrey Lavrentiev, the domestic car market in the coming years could reach sales of 300,000 new vehicles per year valued at USD 6 billion.
