Kazakhstan to follow Turkish and Malaysian lead

ASTANA April 24. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan developing its tourism will make use of experience of Turkey and Malaysia," said Kazakh Minister of Industry and New technologies Asset Issekeshev at the governmental meeting.

According to him, tourism in these countries became a powerful industry for the short time period. Malaysian tourism sector income is USD 20 million and 20% of people work in this field.

"A new study has found that Kazakhstan is in the center of the most growing market of outbound tourism in the world. Till 2020 China, Russia, India and Middle East are forecasetd to increase tourism up to 200 million of outbond tourists annually. We should use this potential," A. Issekeshev concluded.
