Kazakhstan to hold several military drills together with foreign countries in 2024

Kazakhstan plans to hold a number of military drills together with foreign countries in 2024, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the following drills are slated for this year:

- Kabylan Zholy - 2024 joint drills with the Armed Forces of Türkiye;

- Birlestik-2024 command-and-staff drills with the participation of the armed forces divisions of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan;

- Beket-2024 comprehensive drills;

- Ashyk Aspan - 2024 operational-tactical, command-and-staff air defense exercises;

- Joint naval exercises of the Caspian States (Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Russia);

- Aibalta-2024 operational-tactical, command-and-staff exercises;

- Toskauyl-2024 operational-tactical, command-and-staff exercises;

In September-October 2024, Kazakhstan will hold the Indestructible Brotherhood 2023 joint peacekeeping drills involving forces from the Collective Security Treaty Organization states.

Besides, joint drills with the armed forces of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are planned to be held on a bilateral basis.
