Kazakhstan to host Astana Mining & Metallurgy
The main theme is "Mining and metallurgical complex modernization as a key factor of increasing the competitiveness of the industry". This testifies to the fact that that the current situation in the world encourages developed countries to produce more competitive products through diversification, modernization of existing enterprises and introduction of new high-tech projects, trend.az reports. An AMM concept envisages the consideration of all issues relating to the complete cycle of production processes beginning from exploration, ore mining, concentration and processing, to high-tech product manufacturing. The 95th session of the International Organizing Committee of the World Mining Congress (WMC), dedicated to the 25th World Mining Congress in Astana in 2018, will be held. The international experts and scholars from 30 world countries are expected to attend the meeting. The first heads of national companies , large mining, metallurgical, service companies and international agencies, scholars and businessmen from Australia, Austria , Belgium, Belarus , Great Britain, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Canada , China, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Poland, the US , France, South Africa , Sweden and Japan will deliver speeches in Astana. The second Kazakh conference on scrap ferrous and nonferrous metals and Swedish Mining Days in Kazakhstan will also be held. The fifth International Mining and Metallurgy Congress "Astana Mining & Metallurgy" will combine the exhibitions, workshops and "Golden Hephaestus" contest. The purpose of the contest is to recognize the achievements of the companies and specialists in the field of mining and metallurgy. The participation in the contest is free.
