Kazakhstan to host Tashkent Culture Days in Astana

Tashkent Culture Days will be held in Astana on August 7 and 8, Kazinform News Agency learnt from the press service of the Kazakh capital's akimat.

The event is scheduled to take place in the central park of the capital. Within the framework of the Tashkent Days of Culture, spectacular concert programs with participation of famous Uzbek artists, exhibitions of national art and crafts, sports competitions and games for the whole family, presentations of travel opportunities of Tashkent and Uzbekistan are planned.

Traditional Uzbek dishes will be available for purchase at the event.

The event is scheduled to start at 3pm Astana time.

A musical performance featuring prominent Uzbek pop artists is slated to take place at 7:19 pm at the amphitheater on the Esil River embankment of Astana.
