Kazakhstan to implement textile, garment projects
MEDABAD. December 16. KAZINFORM The Kazakhstan Government is planning to implement projects geared towards improving textile and garment production in the country under the framework of its industrial development programme.
Under the programme, the Government plans to set up 162 industrial projects in the country. Three of these products will come up in the textile and garment sectors at an investment of KZT 35 million, according to the Ministry of Industry, Fibre2fashion reports.
Shymkent-Kashemir LLP would be a project for manufacturing of textile items to be set up in south Kazakhstan.
Yutariya Ltd LLP would involve modernization of garment manufacturing, establishment of a development laboratory and industrial laundries in the Karaganda region of the country.
Semipalatinsk LLP would be a leather and fur plant for production of leather products and would be set up in east Kazakhstan region.
