Kazakhstan to internationalize 10 colleges
At today’s meeting of the Cabinet, Minister of Enlightenment Gani Beissembayev reported on the key events scheduled within the Year of Working Professions, Kazinform News Agency reports.
According to him, one of the key events included in the plan is the internationalization of the country’s 10 colleges.
“The main goal is to increase Kazakhstani colleges’ competitiveness at the global level and to ensure domestic educational programs’ compliance with the international standards,” the minister said.
To achieve this goal, the ministry plans to introduce the advanced global models of management of colleges with the attraction of foreign managers.
Besides, as Beissembayev said, the program will enable Kazakhstani teachers to exchange experience with their foreign colleagues and improve their professional level. The students will be able to upgrade their knowledge in the world’s best higher education institutions as part of academic mobility.
Earlier, Beissembayev said that per capita financing of education at colleges will be doubled in Kazakhstan since September 1, 2025.
