Kazakhstan is set to introduce Fast Track investment projects support system or ‘green corridor.’ Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy Nurlan Baibazarov said it at the Government’s weekly meeting today, Kazinform News Agency reports.

The ‘green corridor’ is expected to facilitate and simplify the procedures the investors usually undergo – from registration to the commissioning of the projects.

The country has already piloted its National Investment Platform which will allow to track the implementation of the pool of investment projects in the regions and sectors.

In addition, Kazakh Invest company will set up a ‘single window system' to attract domestic and foreign investors, whose investments exceed $50 million.

According to Nurlan Baibazarov, the ‘green corridor’ will let the investors address infrastructure-related issues, as well as eliminate bureaucratic barriers.
