Kazakhstan to join OECD Competition Committee

ASTANA. July 1. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan plans to become a member of the Competition Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Chairman of the Kazakh Agency for Competitiveness Protection Bolatbek Kuandykov has announced at the Government's meeting today.

"A plan of actions on interaction between the Agency and the OECD Competition Committee is being prepared for signing. Kazakhstan's accession to the OECD Competition Committee is in the initial stage," stressed the head of the Agency.

In this connection, Bolatbek Kuandykov suggested public bodies mapping out the interaction algorithm with the OECD Competition Committee.
