Kazakhstan to launch direct flights from Almaty to Mumbai

Air Astana will launch new flights between Almaty and Mumbai on April 20, 2025, Kazinform News Agency reports.

 Currently, Air Astana operates nine flights from New Delhi to Almaty since 2024.

The flights en route Almaty-Mumbai will be performed by Airbus aircraft three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The first flight will depart from Almaty on April 20 at 04:40 am and arrive in Mumbai at 09:55 am local time. The duration of the flight from Almaty is 4 hours and 50 minutes and 4 hours and 20 minutes backward, the air carrier said in a statement.

The ticket prices start at 210,201 tenge in economy and from 588,202 tenge in business.

Mumbai is the commercial and financial capital of India. It is famous for its rich cultural heritage and lots of tourist attractions, including the Gateway of India, the Elephanta Caves and Kanheri Caves.

Noteworthy, Air Astana company will launch a new flight en route Almaty-Frankfurt starting from June 1, 2025. It will fly three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
