Kazakhstan to launch national digital investment platform

A new information system was presented at the recent meeting of the Council for attraction of investments chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh Government.

The national digital investment platform will serve as an information system in terms of investment projects support. All stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, representatives of government agencies, financial institutes and quasi sector, are expected to benefit from the platform.

The digital platform will cover all processes, including public services available for investors in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakh Government sees digitalization of public services in terms of attraction of investments as one of its priorities. The national investment platform is developed for investors in the first place. That is why it should feature all measures of support and be user-friendly.

It is also expected that the national investment platform will let simplify many processes and make them more transparent as well as improve Kazakhstan’s attractiveness for investors. At the meeting the government bodies were tasked to speed up commissioning of the platform.

The meeting of the Council for attraction of investments also focused on the investment projects slated for implementation in the spheres transport, logistics, healthcare and tourism.
