Kazakhstan to launch Summit-TV for covering OSCE top-level meeting in Astana

ASTANA. October 25. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A new TV-channel devoted to the OSCE Summit in Astana will be launched in Kazakhstan during the period of holding this large-scale event; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh Ministry of Communication and Information.

The Summit-TV will be launched on the basis of one of the state channels for the period of holding of the Summit. The channel will have programs covering the history and culture of Kazakhstan, live broadcasts from the Summit, interviews with guests and participants. The channel will broadcast in English.

Besides, the Ministry is planning to publish a newspaper "Astana Times" in English. It will be the main source of information for foreign guests.
