The Unified Register of Domestic Producers will be compiled by the end of the year, Kazinform News Agency quotes Minister of Industry and Construction Kanat Sharlapaev as saying at the Government’s meeting today.

According to the Minister, the Register will include full data about Kazakhstani producers, including the goods manufactured, types of activity, number of employees, and production volume.

“The companies included into the Register will enjoy government incentives and will get access to the state-run, quasi-public sector’s and subsoil users’ procurement platforms. Increasing production localization will be the major condition for the producers,” said Sharlapaev.

The development of the new system was launched in 2023. Ex-Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov said the Register aimed to become a single source of reliable information on the origin of goods and must function for the benefit of scrupulous companies.
