Kazakhstan to localize three new large productions in 2024

Kazakhstan plans to localize three new large productions in 2024 with Leser (Germany), Beruseal (South Africa), John Crane (USA) companies, Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Yerlan Akkenzhenov told the Government meeting today in Astana, Kazinform News Agency reports. .

He said these companies are the world’s producers of products for the oil and gas industry. New productions will help generate 34 new jobs and attract 3 million US dollars of investments.

Besides, Kazakhstan sets to localize productions with Hi Air Korea (South Korea), Slb (USA), Baker Hughes (USA), Breda Energia (Italy), Flowserve (USA), and Swagelok (USA) in the short-term period. These projects will generate some 12 new workplaces and attract investments of up to 17.5 million US dollars.

He said Kazakhstan localized five productions such as Wika (Germany), Honeywell (USA), PetrolValves (Italy), ТОО «Sigma Solutions» (Kazakhstan) in partnership with N.Vent (США), Eltherm (Germany), and Schneider Electric (France). The implementation of the said projects will provide 177 new workplaces, attract 13.8 million US dollars in investments and acquire VAT domestic production competence.
