Kazakhstan to modernize 115 commercial markets

Kazakhstan plans to modernize 115 commercial markets, Kazinform News Agency quotes Aidar Abildabekov, Chairman of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Investments, as saying at a briefing today.

From October 2024, the Committee will start assisting trade entities of Kazakhstan. 115 commercial markets are planned to be modernized countrywide under the Road Map for 2024-2025.

In his words, modernization works will be completed at 16 of them. The remaining 99 will be renovated next year.

Those planning or carrying out modernization of the markets are eligible for state assistance, with 10.75% to be subsidized by the government. The rest of the bank rate amount is paid by entrepreneurs.
