Kazakhstan to open 13 more new schools on the eve of Independence Day
13 new secondary schools for 7,344 pupils' seats will open their doors in Kazakhstan on the eve of Independence Day. The number of schools opened this year will rise to 109 for 95,344 seats, Kazinform News Agency reports citing the Enlightenment Ministry’s press service.
154 schools for 132,000 pupils will open by the yearned throughout Kazakhstan to solve three-shift schooling and school shortage problems in 113 rural settlements.
Besides, this year will start construction of 217 schools as part of the Comfortable School project. The schools will be commissioned by 2024. The project is aimed at the construction of new schools in promising rural settlements, creating a comfortable and safe environment for teaching staff and pupils, and raising the quality of education.
Kazakhstan will build 369 comfortable schools for 740,000 seats at large at the instruction of the Head of State.
