Kazakhstan to open over 300 new schools
Kazakh Enlightenment Minister Gani Beissembayev revealed the school construction plans development, Kazinform News Agency reports.
20 schools built under the Comfortable School national project will be commissioned ahead of schedule by August 20, Gani Beissembayev said.
The Minister said this year plans to put into service 302 schools for 536,000 seats to solve the three-shift schooling problem at 92 schools and 249 schools facing student place shortage.
He tasked the governors of the regions to take measures not to miss construction deadlines. He also said 1,000 schools in small towns, district centers and villages will be repaired and modernized.
Besides, 214 more robotic science classes, 290 chemistry, 313 physics, and 259 STEM classes will open this year.
