Kazakhstan to provide stable fulfillment of its international obligations: A.Smirnov
"The Head of State said that "our policy would meet hopes and expectations of all of our partners". The country will provide stable fulfillment of its obligations," A.Smirnov said regarding the foreign policy issues.
According to him, Kazakhstan will remain committed to the Customs Union with Belarus and Russia, continue active work on developing interaction with the CIS member states and its mission on coordination of regional issues within the OSCE. Kazakhstan plans to resume the work on strengthening dialogue between West and Islamic world within the OIC presidency.
The Ambassador reminded about the event dedicated to the anniversary of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's establishment that was scheduled for this year in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh diplomat has also noted that the year of 2011 is the year of the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence. "Kazakhstan has walked the difficult path of nation-building, provision of stable economic growth and strengthening political stability during a short historical period of time. Due to consistent and effective reforms held in the political and economic life of the country during this period Kazakhstan is recognized today as an economically strong and dynamically developing democratic state, respected and predictable partner of the world community," A.Smirnov said.
