The Minister said that following the talks, the prime ministers of Kazakhstan and Russia agreed on partial lifting of restrictions from the export of meat and meat products from Kazakhstan.

“Due to the epizootic situation in Kazakhstan, the Russian side previously introduced restrictions on the import of meat products. Today we have agreed with our Russian colleagues to lift restrictions from southern and southeastern regions. Now we are working to remove restrictions from the entire territory of Kazakhstan,” said Sultanov.

Earlier, it was reported that Kazakhstan and Russia plan to raise bilateral commodity turnover to $30bln.
