Kazakhstan to restore 14 historical monuments this year

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 14 historical monuments are to be restored in Kazakhstan this year, director of the Republican state enterprise "Kazrestavratsiya" Kanat Tuyakbayev said.

"According to the plan for 2015-2017 we will work on 30 historical and cultural objects. Out of 30, 14 historical monuments will be restored in 2015," he announced at the press conference at KazMedia Center in Astana on Tuesday. He also reminded that 73 historical and cultural monuments have been restored in Kazakhstan since 2004 thanks to the Cultural Heritage Program initiated by President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
