Kazakhstan to send soldiers to International Security Assistance Force headquarters in Afghanistan: President

BRUSSELS. October 25. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ Kazakhstan decided to send several soldiers to the headquarters of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made it public upon the results of negotiations with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.

The Head of the State noted that upon the results of the talks the sides agreed that Kazakhstan was one of the key partners of the Alliance in the region supporting the operations of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan.

"Our country provided air and rail corridors for cargo transit of the International Forces in Afghanistan", the President said.
