Kazakhstan to spend extra 10 bln on construction of EXPO-2017 facilities
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan allocates 10 billion tenge on preparations for the EXPO-2017 event in Astana and construction of necessary facilities, the press service of "National Company "Astana EXPO-2017" JSC confirms.
Extra 10 billion tenge from the state budget will be channeled into development of the design and estimate documentation and construction of the EXPO-2017 facilities, as well as design and exploration works, and preparation of the construction site. Currently, "National Company "Astana EXPO-2017" JSC is working hard to attract private investments from Kazakhstan and abroad. More detailed information on possible sponsors will be released by yearend. On March 11, at the Government's session Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Yerbolat Dossayev informed additional 10 billion tenge had been be allotted for holding of the International specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017" in Astana.
