Kazakhstan to start construction of 217 schools this year
Kazakhstan will start this year construction of 217 schools as part of the Comfortable Schools project, Kazinform Agency quotes Kazakh Vice Minister of Enlightenment Yedil Ospan as saying.
The ministry, local akimats, and education departments took part in project definition studies and their coordination. According to 1st deputy CEO of Samruk-KazynaConstruction JSC, separate entrances will be built for primary and senior grades. He stressed the safety of pupils, teaching staff, and school employees is taken into account during the development of school projects.
Besides, he added 165 schools for 137,7000 seats will be commissioned by the yearend. For the past three years, 626 new schools for 340,000 pupils were built in Kazakhstan.
