"We held a ministerial conference in Astana aimed at development of the dialogue East-West in order to strengthen contacts between such organizations as the OSCE and the OIC. These two organizations have different structures, different mandates and different organizational forms", M.Jarbussynova said.

As she noted, Kazakhstan would proceed with the OIC chairmanship in the second half of the next year. But it does not mean that our country will be no more interested in the OSCE. Kazakhstan will continue the work in the OSCE Troika.

According to M.Jarbussynova, the focus on gender strategy set by Kazakhstan within the OSCE will be continued in the OIC.
