Kazakhstan to take part in Berlin ITB-2009

BERLIN-BRUSSELS. March 6. KAZINFORM /Yerzhan Ospanov/ International Tourism Bourse (ITB) will take place on March 11-15 in Berlin; Kazinform refers to the representation of Kazakhstan Commerce and Industry Chamber in Germany.

The event is the largest international tourism forum in the world. It is held annually in Messedamm Berlin Exhibition Center. Over 11 000 tourist organizations, travel agencies, hotels and airlines from 184 countries took part in the ITB last year. The Kazakh delegation will consist of Tourism and Sport Ministry, Kazakhstan Tourist Association, akimats of Almaty, Pavlodar regions, Astana and Almaty cities and etc. The Kazakh representatives are expected to hold presentation of Kazakhstan?s tourist potential for the German mass media and travel agencies.
