Kazakhstan took part in ITB Berlin 2011 international travel show

ASTANA. March 15. KAZINFORM Kazakh delegation took part in the annual 45th international tourism exhibition ITB Berlin 2011 on March 9-13 in Berlin; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA's press service.

The 2011 ITB covers an exhibition area of more than 160,000 square metres. 11,000 exhibitors from 180 countries take part in it.

Kazakhstan's display was awarded the first prize in the Asia/ Australia/ Oceania best exhibitor. Korea and Mongolia were second and third respectively. As a result of the competition among the winners in other categories, Kazakhstan was recognized as the best of the best for the first time in the history of our participation in this exhibition.

Kazakh Ambassador Nurlan Ozhanov told about modern travel opportunities of Kazakhstan and perspective projects in this field.
