Kazakhstan training 5500 specialists to teach different disciplines in English
ASTANA. December 24. KAZINFORM Kazakh universities are preparing about 5 500 specialists for teaching different disciplines in English, Minister of Education and Science Bakytzhan Zhumagulov stated during the discussion of the priorities of 'Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy on Monday in Akorda.

"In line with the new tasks we have to radically modernize the content, methods and technologies at all levels of education. The goal is to establish developed systems of distance and online education, develop the state language and trilingualism," B. Zhumagulov said.
The Minister noted that from September 1 this year, 32 higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan began training specialists in English for different subjects. Starting next school year all schools in Kazakhstan will begin the transition to trilingual education, and in the future the individual disciplines will be taught in English.
