Our nations enjoy dynamically developing brotherly relations, constructive political dialogue as well as strengthening interaction between the governments. Türkiye is among the top 5 trade partners of Kazakhstan. Last year, the mutual trade turnover reached 6 billion US dollars, said Kazakh leader Tokayev, noting that the two countries mark 30 years since the signing of the Agreement on friendship and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Türkiye.
According to the Head of State, Türkiye is among the major investors in the Kazakh economy, with the investment projects involving Turkish entrepreneurs are under his personal control.
In turn, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highlighted that the relations between Kazakhstan and Türkiye have become more strategic, pointing to huge potential for further strengthening of trade and economic cooperation.
I’m convinced that during the 5th meeting of the Kazakhstan-Türkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, set to take place next year in Ankara, important agreements in agriculture, defense, energy transport and logistics as well as the cultural and humanitarian sphere are to be signed. We’ll continue working to take the bilateral trade turnover to 15 billion US dollars, stated the Turkic President.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stressed that Turkish companies successfully operate in different sectors of the Kazakh economy. According to him, Turkish businesses are ready to share their experience in modernizing the agricultural sector, construction of a nuclear power plant, oil and gas transportation.
