Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway to be unveiled in December
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway is set to be unveiled by yearend.

Kazakh Minister for Investments and Development Asset Issekeshev confirmed on Wednesday that the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan will participate in the unveiling ceremony in December.
"The Heads of State are to launch the new railway linking Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran and the Persian Gulf this December. The new railway is believed to open Kazakhstan access to a huge market," Minister Issekeshev said at the Astana-hosted conference dedicated to Eurasian transport integration.
Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway will ensure effective transportation of goods to South Asia and the Persian Gulf and back to Russia and the Eastern Europe.
