Kazakhstan unveils national team’s uniform for 2025 Asian Winter Games
The Ministry of Tourism and Sport presented the official outfit of the national team for the IX Asian Winter Games, Kazinform reports.
The competition is scheduled to be held from February 7 to 14, 2025 in Harbin, in China.
“The outfit was created in compliance with international standards and national requirements. The main colors - dark blue and light blue - symbolize stability, independence and the desire for new achievements. White elements underline purity and the fair play principle,” the ministry says.
The uniform design is complemented with the state symbols of Kazakhstan - the National Emblem and the Flag. The uniform also features the inscription QAZAQSTAN, the logo of the IX Asian Winter Games and the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.
The uniform is made of natural fabrics with high thermoregulatory properties. The outerwear is insulated with natural down, which provides lightness and thermal insulation. High-tech fleece is used in the sports suits, which retains body heat even in extreme weather conditions.
The set includes a warm jacket, a windproof suit, a vest, sports and training suits, a T-shirt, shorts, headwear, sports shoes and accessories.
The outfit was created with the support of sponsors.
The IX Asian Winter Games will bring together 1,147 athletes from 32 Asian countries. The athletes will compete for 196 sets of awards in six sports and 11 disciplines.
