Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan to debate coop issues

ASTANA. November 26. KAZINFORM Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Krymbek Kusherbayev will head the Kazakh delegation to participate in the negotiations on cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan set for November 29-30," press secretary of the Kazakh MFA Iliyas Omarov told.

"The 12th meeting of the intergovernmental commission for bilateral cooperation between the two countries will be held in Tashkent," he added.

The parties are expected to discuss state and prospects for the Kazakh-Uzbek cooperation in political, trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, necessary measures for further growth of mutual commodity turnover, bilateral cooperation within regional integration alliances and urgent issues of the international agenda.

Besides, a joint concert of masters of arts of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, dated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the countries will be held in Tashkent on November 30 under the aegis of the Kazakh Embassy  with the assistance of the Uzbek Culture and Sport Ministry.
