Kazakhstan weather forecast for midweek

The weather with no precipitation will settle in most parts of Kazakhstan due to the extensive anticyclone on September 18, Kazinform News Agency has learned from Kazhydromet.

Rains and thunderstorms are expected to batter the country’s east, south, and southeast. Wind strengthening is expected throughout the country. Fog is expected to blanket the north, east, as well as mountainous districts in the nighttime and early morning.

Ground frost of -1°C, - 6°C is to grip the country's east, north, the Pavlodar region, west, the Akmola and Abai regions, as well as mountainous areas of the Zhetysu region.

High fire threat remains in Ulytau, Zhetysu, Northeast, West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Southwest, Southeast, Zhambyl, Karaganda and Kostanay regions.

Extremely high fire hazard remains in Kyzylorda, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Atyrau, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan, Karaganda, Ulytau, Abai, Zhetysu, Almaty and Aktobe regions.
