ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstan companies will establish infrastructure along the railway "Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran", this was said by Minister of Foreign Affairs Erlan Idrissov.

According to his words, Kazakhstan and Iran cooperate in transport and infrastructure. Last year the countries launched "Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran" rail route. He said that at the moment it is important to establish appropriate infrastructure along the railroad. "This road was built recently. Therefore, a lot of work should be done to bring it to designed capacities. That work should be carried out by the three countries," said Mr. Idrissov. He stressed that in order to increase the traffic it is necessary to build related infrastructure, trade and freight terminals along the road. "Our companies are willing to do this work, in particular, there is a Kazakhstan's company that is ready to build a grain terminal at Ince Burun station on the territory of Iran," he added.
