Kazakhstan will withstand the crisis - Head of State

ASTANA.  November 14. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Kazakhstan will withstand the crisis even if it continues with the same strength, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his direct dialogue with the population.

"There are various forecasts regarding the crisis. I would like to say one thing to the Kazakhstanis: even if the crisis continues Kazakhstan will stand it. Why? Last year as I said we had USD 43 bln state reserves. These reserves did not decrease, on the contrary they grew. To date we possess USD 45 bln", the Head of the State noted.

He assured the Kazakhstanis that these reserves were quite enough to overcome the financial crisis.
