Kazakhstan wraps up 2025 Winter World University Games with 14 medals
Kazakhstan claims bronze in the men's 5000m relay of the short track speed skating competition at the 2025 FISU World University Winter Games in Torino, Italy, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Kazakhstan’s Dinmukhamed Tazhibay, Sanzhar Zhanyssov, Aibek Temirkhan, Valeriy Klimenko and Alisher Abulkatimov brought Kazakhstan bronze in the short track speed skating men's 5000m event, adding to the country’s total medal tally of 14 at the 2025 FISU Winter University Games.
Earlier, Team Kazakhstan claimed bronze in the 2,000m short-track mixed relay with a result of 2:44.815.
The closing ceremony of the 2025 Winter World University Games is set to take place at 12 o’clock tonight local time.
Earlier it was reported that the Kazakh men's ice hockey team finished 5th at the 2025 World Winter University Games.
