Kazakhstani boxer Nurbek Oralbay reaches 2024 Olympics semifinal

Kazakhstani boxer Nurbek Oralbay clinched a semifinal spot at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.  

Kazakhstan’s boxer Nurbek Oralbay beat Murad Allakhverdiyev from Azerbaijan by a unanimous decision 5-0 in the men’s 80kg event in Round of 8 of the ongoing Olympics.

Earlier, Kazinform News Agency presented the schedule of Kazakhstani athletes for the 2024 Paris Olympics for August 2.

The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris is set to run from July 26 through August 11. The Games brought together 10,500 athletes from 206 national Olympic committees. Team Kazakhstan is represented by 80 athletes in 25 sports.
