Kazakhstani Bublik wins ATP-250 European Open in Antwerp

Kazakhstani Alexander Bublik (ranked 36th by the ATP) has become a winner of the ATP-250 European Open in Antwerp, Belgium, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

In the finals, Bublik played vs Arthur Fiss from France (ranked 38th) and beat him with a score of 6:4, 6:4.

Earlier, during the tournament, Bublik defeated two more French players - Gregoire Barrere (ranked 72nd) - 6:4, 6:2, and Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard (ranked 226th) - 6:4, 4:6, 6:2, as well as German Maximilian Marterer (ranked 127th) - 6:4, 6:4.

Bublik earned 108,000 US dollars and got 250 points for his win.

Alexander Bublik is Kazakhstan’s best singles player.
